Social Studies
My unit lesson for social studies that I taught was focused on regions in the United States, specifically the Northeast region. Our classroom was transformed into an airplane by moving desks, using PowerPoint, following our travel itinerary, and by using our imaginations as students toured the Northeast. Students also collected facts and information that they wrote down about the different places we visited on our tour, wrote letters to a friend about the Northeast, and they created advertisements persuading one to visit the Northeast region.
